Incredible Years Training Programme
Once every year (usually in September) we run a training programme for parents who may have concerns about the behaviour of their child or young person.
We use the Incredible Years Training Programme, which was developed in America, and now has a research base in Aberystwyth University. It is a great programme, with lots of practical tips about dealing with difficult behaviour.
The programme lasts 10 week. We meet up once a week, and before we start the programme we will meet with parents in their own homes, so that we can explain what the course will be looking at, what will happen, etc., - SO THERE IS NO NEED TO BE WORRIED BEFOREHAND!
You will be able to meet other parents who also are trying to manage behaviour which is proving difficult.
